The competition is part of NASA’s Centennial Challenges program and is managed by America Makes, a partnership of organisations focused on accelerating capabilities and adoption of additive manufacturing technology. This project have consider how the 3D Print constructibility, Mars site selection, habitability and how to utilise local indigenous materials with or without, recyclable materials, in space and on Earth.
Our project strong focus on an enlarged spatial experience, and privacy. The construction concept relies on the combination of 3D printing technologies and innovative sintering solutions. In addition, two technologies are suggested - one addressing energy issues and one alternative 3D printing concept.
